He showed me that all

  my preaching, writing and

other ministry was absolutely

    nothing compared to my

  love-relationship with Him.

        خدايم به من نشان داد همه‌ي

 موعظه‌ها و نوشته‌هايم و همه‌ي آنچه مربوط

به دوران طلبگي‌ام بوده است در برابر عشقي

كه به او داشتم مطلقاً هيچ و بي‌ مقدار بوده‌اند .

 Hope is patience that

 has lighted its lamp at

the flame of God's light.

اميد صبري است كه روشني

 فانوسش از انوار خداست.

     I believe in the sun,

           even though

I cannot see it shine today.

         I believe in love

           even though

       I see so little of it.

        I believe in God

even though I cannot hear

     His voice right now.

   خورشيد را باور دارم،حتي اگر امروز

درخشش‌اش را نبينم.عشق را باور دارم،

      حتي اگر ذرّه‌اي به چشم آيد.

          او را باور دارم،حتي اگر

       هم اينك صدايش را نشنوم.

    Truly goodness and

  Love will follow me all

 The days of my life, and

      I will dwell in the

House of the Lord forever

بي شك اين عشق و نيت پاك من است

كه در تمامي روزهاي زندگي همراهي‌ام

 خواهد كرد. در پناه اوست كه جاودانه

             به سر خواهم برد

 The rainbow of God's

Promises always spans

 the storms of our lives.

     همواره چتر رنگين كمانِ وعده‌هاي

او بر توفان زندگي ما گسترده خواهد شد.

    Hold on to life!

   Hold on to hope!

    Hold on to God!

And one day the sun

    will shine again.

               به زندگي چنگ بزن!

اميد داشته باش! دست به دامن خدا شو!

     خورشيد بار ديگر خواهد درخشيد.

          Hope is like the nighttime Skies

    there is no spot, however tiny, so dark,

that when you look very carefully you cannot

              see the glimmer of a star.

اميد مانند ذرّه‌اي نور در آسمان شب است،

             آن قدر تاريك كه وقتي به دقت مي‌نگريد،

   سوسوي ستاره‌ها ديده نمي‌شود.
